A cancer beating drug has been discovered in the FNQ rainforest.
The drug, discovered in Far Northern rainforest trees is tipped to become the Tableland's newest industry with plantations to be established in the region.
A Yungaburra company has just completed successful trials treating inoperable tumours in horses and dogs with its cancer drug, and it is now ready to fast-track human clinical trials.
At this stage, the company has plantations in Yungaburra and Malanda areas and more farmers are being sought to establish stands across the region to diversify risk in the event of a cyclone. |
